Chapter 40.--INSURANCE Article 27.--UNIFORM UNAUTHORIZED INSURERS ACT

      40-2703.   Violation of act; action to enjoin or restrain acts;jurisdiction.Whenever the commissioner of insurance believes, from evidencesatisfactory to him, that any insurer is violating or about to violatethe provisions of K.S.A. 40-2702, the commissioner ofinsurance may, through the attorney general of this state, cause acomplaint to be filed in a district court of proper venue to enjoin andrestrain such insurer from continuing such violation or engaging thereinor doing any act in furtherance thereof. Said district court shall havejurisdiction of any such proceeding and shall have the power to make andenter an order or judgment awarding such preliminary or final injunctiverelief as in its judgment is proper.
