      40-301.   Definition of insurance company.For the purpose of this article the term "insurance company" shall applyto domestic insurance companies having a capital stock; and may includeforeign insurance companies having a capital stock when reference is madeto the union, merger, consolidation and re-insurance of insurancecompanies.
