Chapter 40.--INSURANCE Article 34.--HEALTH CARE PROVIDER INSURANCE

      40-3422.   Appeal bond.In any medical malpractice liability action, as definedby K.S.A. 60-3401 and amendments thereto, the proceedings shallbe stayed on appeal by the filing of a supersedeas bond in the full amountof the judgment against the health care provider signed by the chairperson ofthe board of governors, or the chairperson'sdesignee, as administrator of the health care stabilization fund withoutsurety or other security.
