      40-4705.   Same; health committee; subsidies forcoverage.The health committee may provide a mechanism fordirect subsidies to low and modest wage employees of employers acquiringcoverage through a direct contract with a carrier rather than through thehealth partnership, and for provision to such employees of a supplementalbenefit plan as described in subsection (a) of K.S.A. 40-4704.
