      40-4901.   Uniform insurance agents licensing act;citation; applicability.(a)K.S.A. 2009 Supp.40-4901 through 40-4918, andamendments thereto, shallconstituteand be known as the uniform insurance agents licensing act.

      (b)   Except as provided inK.S.A. 2009 Supp.40-4906and subsection (b) ofK.S.A. 2009 Supp.40-4914, and amendments thereto, thisact shall notapply to any excess and surplus lines agents and brokers licensed pursuant toK.S.A. 40-246b and amendments thereto.
