40-4914. Same; waiver of conditions for nonresidentinsurance agent license; conditions.(a) Subject to the provisions ofK.S.A. 2009 Supp.40-4908, and amendmentsthereto, the commissioner shall waive anylicense applicationrequirements for a nonresident insurance agent license if:
(1) The applicant has a valid current license issued by suchapplicant'shome state; and
(2) the applicant'shomestate awards nonresident licenses to residents of this state on the same basis.
(b) A nonresident agent's satisfaction of such insurance agent's homestate'scontinuingeducation requirements for licensed insurance agents shall constitutesatisfaction of this state's continuing education requirements if thenonresidentagent's home state accepts satisfaction of its continuing educationrequirements imposed upon agents from this state as satisfying thecontinuing education requirements imposed by the nonresident insuranceagent's home state on the same basis.
