Chapter 40.--INSURANCE Article 52.--ASSUMPTION REINSURANCE AGREEMENTS

      40-5208.   Same; continuation of certainprotections.Residents of this state whose policies were previouslysubject to theprotections setforth in K.S.A. 40-2901 et seq., and amendments thereto, or K.S.A. 40-3001 etseq., andamendments thereto, and whose policies are transferred to an unlicensed insurerpursuant to thissection are entitled to continued protection thereunder.

      This section shall take effect on and after July 1, 2004.
