Chapter 40.--INSURANCE Article 55.--PUBLIC ADJUSTERS LICENSING ACT

      40-5501.   Short title.K.S.A. 2009 Supp. 40-5501 through 40-5519, and amendments thereto, shall beknown and may be cited as the publicadjusters licensing act,and it shall governthe qualifications and procedures for the licensing of public adjusters, on andafter July 1, 2009. Itspecifies the duties ofand restrictions on public adjusters, which include limiting their licensure toassisting insureds infirst party claims.
