      40-609.   Act not to apply to certain associations.This article shall not apply to any association of religious or secretsocieties now existing or under the supervision of a grand or supremelodge, nor to any class of mechanics, express, telegraph or railroademployees formed for the mututal benefit of the members thereof and theirfamilies, exclusively.
