Chapter 40.--INSURANCE Article 9.--GENERAL PROVISIONS RELATING TO FIRE INSURANCE COMPANIES

      40-974.   Same; definitions.For purposes ofK.S.A. 2009 Supp.40-970 through 40-975:

      (a)   "Commissioner" means thecommissioner of insurance.

      (b)   "Personal insurance" shall have the meaning ascribed to it in K.S.A.2009 Supp. 40-5103 (l) and amendments thereto.

      (c)   "Unfairly discriminatory"shall have the meaningascribed to it in K.S.A. 40-953 and amendments thereto. The term "unfairlydiscriminatory"includesa rate for a risk that is classified inwhole or in part on the basisof race, color, creed or national origin.
