Chapter 41.--INTOXICATING LIQUORS AND BEVERAGES Article 26.--LICENSURE AND REGULATION OF SALE OF LIQUOR BY THE DRINK

      41-2625.   Same; corporations and partnerships.(a) No corporation shall be issued a license as a club, drinkingestablishment or caterer unless suchcorporation first appoints a citizen ofthe United States, andresident of Kansas, as its agent and fileswith the director aduly authenticated copy of a duly executed power of attorney authorizingsuch agent to: (1) Accept service of process from the director andthe courts of this state; and (2) exercise fullauthority of such corporation and full authority, control andresponsibility for the conduct of all business and transactions of thecorporation within the state relative to the business licensed. Such agentmust have the qualifications of a licensee except for the qualification ofresidence. Such agent shall at all times be maintained by such corporation.

      (b)   No corporation shall be issued a license as a club, drinkingestablishment or caterer unless suchcorporation first files with the director acopy of its articlesof incorporation and its bylaws.

      (c)   No partnership shall be issued a license as a club, drinkingestablishment or caterer unless suchpartnership first files with the director a copy of thepartnership agreement.
