Chapter 42.--IRRIGATION
Article 3.--IRRIGATION AND IRRIGATION DISTRICTS

      42-363.   Officers; term; annual election.The officers of such district shall be a board of irrigationcommissioners, consisting of a president, secretary and treasurer, andshall hold their offices for a period of one year. They shall be elected atan annual election to be held on the second Monday of December of eachyear, and shall hold their respective offices until their successors areelected and qualified. The board of county commissioners shall have powerto appoint the first officers of such district, and such appointed officersshall hold their office until the next ensuing annual election, and untiltheir successors are elected and qualified.
