Chapter 42.--IRRIGATION Article 3.--IRRIGATION AND IRRIGATION DISTRICTS

      42-377.   Tax levy by board, when.If the quarterly report of said treasurer of said board for June shalldisclose to said board of irrigation commissioners that there is notsufficient money in the hands of the treasurer of said board to pay thenecessary current expenses, and pay the interest on the bonds of saiddistrict, and create a sinking fund for the redemption of the said bonds,then it shall be the duty of said board, and it is hereby authorized andempowered, to levy a tax on all of the real estate dependent upon suchworks for irrigation in said district to meet the expenditures as in thissection specified.
