Chapter 42.--IRRIGATION
Article 7.--DISTRICTS

      42-705.   Perpetual existence; powers; eminent domain; bonds; taxlevies.Upon incorporation as provided in this act, and from thenceforth saidirrigation district shall have perpetual existence, subject to dissolutionas provided in this act, and shall have a corporate seal and unlessotherwise provided, it shall have all the rights, powers andresponsibilities belonging to other public corporations, created under andby virtue of the statutes of the state of Kansas including the power ofeminent domain, power to issue bonds, levy taxes, assessments andsupplemental assessments and generally the power to do and perform all theacts and things necessary and proper to the performance of powers andduties granted and imposed by this act.
