Chapter 42.--IRRIGATION
Article 7.--DISTRICTS

      42-726.   Same; notice by publication; objections in writing.After such petition has been approved in writing by the chief engineer,the board of directors of the irrigation district shall cause a notice ofthe filing of such petition to be given and published in the same mannerand for the same time as notices for hearing on petition for organizationof original irrigation district are required by section 1 [*] of this act.The notice shall state the filing of such petition, a general descriptionof lands mentioned in said petition, and the prayers of the petition. Thenotice shall be directed to all persons concerned without specificallynaming said persons. The notice shall inform such persons concerned toappear in the office of the directors of the irrigation district at a timestated therein, and show cause, in writing, if any they have, why thechange in the boundaries of the district as proposed in the petition shouldnot be made.
