Chapter 42.--IRRIGATION Article 7.--DISTRICTS

      42-730.   Same; amendment to articles of incorporation; recordation;effect.In the event a change in the boundaries of a district is made by anorder of the board of directors, said board of directors shall presentto the secretary of state an amendment to its articles of incorporation,containing the legal description of the lands to be annexed to orexcluded from the district. A certified copy of the amendment to thearticles of incorporation shall be filed for record with the register ofdeeds of each county wherein any district lands or any of the landsadded to and included in or excluded from the district are located, andwith the chief engineer of the division of water resources. Thereuponthe irrigation district shall be and remain an irrigation district asfully and as to every intent and purpose as if the lands which areincluded in the district by the change of boundaries, had been includedtherein at the original organization of the district or as if the landswhich were excluded from the boundaries of the district had never beenincluded therein.
