      44-1024.   Same; effect of city ordinances governing housing practices. Nothing in this act shall be construed to invalidate or limit anyordinance of any city in this state that grants, guarantees or protects thesame rights as are granted by this act; but any ordinance of a city thatpurports to require or permit any action that would be a discriminatoryhousing practice under this act shall, to that extent, be invalid.
