Chapter 44.--LABOR AND INDUSTRIES Article 16.--AMUSEMENT RIDES

      44-1609.   Occurrence of serious injury.Whenever a serious injury results from theoperation of an amusement ride:

      (a)   Operation of the ride shall immediately bediscontinued;

      (b)   operation of the ride shall not be resumed until it hasbeen inspected and the qualified inspector has approved resumption ofoperation; and

      (c)   the owner, within 30 days after the injury, shall notify the manufacturerof the ride, if the manufacturer is known and in existence at the time of theinjury.
