Chapter 44.--LABOR AND INDUSTRIES Article 7.--EMPLOYMENT SECURITY LAW

      44-713.   Merit awards for certain employees.The secretary of labor, in recognition ofmeritorious serviceby individual employees who serve in the administration of the employmentsecurity law and who receive a preponderant share of their compensationthrough the employment security administration fund, is hereby authorizedto make meritorious service awards, including the presentation of a serviceaward pin and certificate to each of such employees whensuch employee has servedin such administration a minimum of 10 years. Thesecretary may alsopresent to each of such employees an additional pin and certificate foreach additional five year period of satisfactory service in theadministrationof the law. The cost of each such pin and certificate shallbe paid fromthe employment security administration fund in the same manner as otherexpenses of administering the employment security law are paid.
