44-727. Title to real property acquired with federal funds.The state of Kansas is hereby authorized to receive and accept title toreal property which may be acquired under rental purchase agreements executedor to be executed by the secretary in the administration of the employmentsecurity law. Such property shall be acquired without appropriation by thestate of Kansas and the cost thereof shall be defrayed by federal fundsmade available for the administration of the law.Sufficiency of titleto any property acquired hereunder shall be approved by the attorney generalprior to conveyance by general warranty deed to the state of Kansas. Anyproperty acquired under authority hereof shall be utilized primarily forthe administration of the employment security law by the secretary oflabor. After acquisition such propertymay be occupied foradministrationof the employment security law at no cost other than maintenance.
