      44-824.   Rights and duties of certified or recognizedemployee organizations.(a) An agricultural employer shall extend to a certified or formallyrecognized employee organization the right to represent the employees,of the appropriate unit involved in meet and confer proceedings and inthe settlement of grievances, and also shall extend the right tounchallenged representation status, consistent with subsection (d) ofK.S.A. 44-823, during the twelve (12) months following the date ofcertification or formal recognition.

      (b)   A certified or formally recognized employee organization shallbe obligated to fully and equally represent all employees of theappropriate unit involved whether said employees do or do not havemembership in the employee organization.
