46-137e
46-137e. Additional compensation and allowances for certainofficers and members of the legislature.(a) The officers specified in K.S.A. 46-137b and amendmentsthereto shall, in addition to all other compensation and expenseallowances authorized by law, receive compensation at the rate specifiedin clause (a) of K.S.A. 75-3212 and subsistence allowances atthe rates specified in clauses (b) and (c) of K.S.A. 75-3212,for each day (or part thereof) in the performance of the duties of theirrespective offices in Topeka and in addition thereto the mileageallowance specified in clause (d) of said K.S.A. 75-3212.
(b) When authorized by the legislative coordinating council toattend to any legislative business in Topeka when the legislature is notin session, members of the legislature not specified in subsection (a)of this section shall, in addition to all other compensation andexpenses authorized by law, receive compensation, subsistence andmileage allowances in the amounts specified in K.S.A. 75-3212.
(c) No compensation or subsistence or mileage allowances shall bepaid under this section for any day that a member is entitled to receivecompensation under K.S.A. 46-137a or K.S.A. 75-3212.
