Chapter 46.--LEGISLATURE Article 12.--LEGISLATIVE COORDINATING COUNCIL

      46-1213.   Employment of certain legislative employees.The legislative coordinating council may employ such persons as may benecessary or appropriate to perform legislative work under the directionand supervision of the revisor of statutes, the secretary of state, thedirector of legislative administrative services, the state librarian orany other department or agency of the state or for the houses of thelegislature jointly, subject to the provisions of subsections (b) and(c) of K.S.A. 46-152. The number of such employees, theofficer to whom assigned and the rate of pay of each such employeeposition shall be prescribed by the legislative coordinating council.
