Chapter 46.--LEGISLATURE Article 12.--LEGISLATIVE COORDINATING COUNCIL

46-1216. Approval of vouchers and payrolls of office of revisor ofstatutes and legislative research department; other vouchers and payrollsof council.(a) Expenditures from appropriations to the legislative coordinatingcouncil for the office of revisor of statutes shall be made on vouchersapproved by the revisor of statutes. All claims for salaries, wages orother compensation to persons to be paid from appropriations to thelegislative coordinating council for the office of revisor of statutesshall be certified as provided in K.S.A. 75-3731 by the revisor ofstatutes.

(b) Expenditures from appropriations to the legislative coordinatingcouncil for the legislative research department shall be made on vouchersapproved by the director of legislative research. All claims for salaries,wages or other compensation to be paid from appropriations to thelegislative coordinating council for the legislative research departmentshall be certified as provided in K.S.A. 75-3731 by the director oflegislative research.

(c) Expenditures from appropriations to the legislative coordinatingcouncil for other than the office of revisor of statutes or legislativeresearch department shall be made on vouchers approved by the chairman orvice-chairman of the legislative coordinating council. All claims forsalaries, wages or other compensation from appropriations to thelegislative coordinating council for other than the office of revisor ofstatutes or the legislative research department shall be certified asprovided in K.S.A. 75-3731 by the chairman or vice-chairman of thelegislative coordinating council.
