46-402. House committee on interstate cooperation; membership; chairperson.There is hereby established a standing committee of the house ofrepresentatives known as the house committee on interstate cooperation whichshall consist of seven members of the house of representatives. Six members ofthe committee shall be appointed in the same manner asmembers of other standing committees of the house of representatives. Thespeaker of the house of representatives, or another member of the house ofrepresentatives of the same political party designated by the speaker, shallbe a member and chairperson of the committee.
