      46-923.   Same; authority for director of accounts andreports to acceptfor payment certain claims for services or purchases made in improper fiscalyear.Notwithstanding K.S.A. 75-3731, and amendments thereto, the director ofaccounts andreports shall accept for payment from the head of any state agency any claimnot exceeding $5,000 for services orpurchases eventhough such claim was not submitted or processed for payment within thefiscal year in which the service was rendered or the purchase was made. Noclaim filed more than six months after thedate that the service wasrendered or the purchase was made shall be allowed or paid.
