Chapter 47.--LIVESTOCK AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
Article 10.--PUBLIC LIVESTOCK MARKETS

      47-1009.   Dealer to keep books and records; reports to commissioner. Each dealer shall keep such books, records, accounts and memoranda ofthe business transacted at each community sale conducted and operated bysuch dealer hereunder, as shall show, among other things, the date on whicheach lot of livestock was received by the dealer, together with the namesof both buyers and sellers thereof, the place of origin of livestock, themake or manufacture and the state license numbers of all vehiclestransporting such livestock, together with the names of drivers of suchvehicles and the driver's license number and the name of the owner orconsignor, signed by owner or consignor, or their agent, to be kept on fileat place of business of sale or sales for one year. Each dealer shall alsomake such reports to the commissioner as to the business transacted, as tothe rates and charges for services rendered, as to facilities furnished bythe dealer and as to such other matters and things as the commissioner maydeem necessary for the effective administration of this act.
