Chapter 47.--LIVESTOCK AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS Article 17.--PET ANIMAL ACT

      47-1723.   Kennel operator license.(a) It shall be unlawful for anyperson, except a licensed veterinarian, to act as or be a kennel operatorunless such person has obtainedfrom the commissioner a kennel operatorlicense for eachpremises operated bysuch person.Application for such license shall be made inwriting on a form provided by the commissioner. Thelicense period shallbe forthe license year ending on June 30 following the issuancedate.

      (b)   This section shall be part of and supplemental to K.S.A. 47-1701 etseq., and amendments thereto.
