Chapter 47.--LIVESTOCK AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS Article 4.--MARKS AND BRANDS

      47-440.   Same; contents of bill of sale; unlawful acts.It shall be unlawful for any person, in any brand inspection area, tosell cattle or sheep with the brand of another or offer for sale, anycattle or sheep carrying any brand other than the recorded brand of theperson in possession thereof, without having in his possession a bill ofsale showing or stating: (1) The date of transfer of such livestock fromthe record owner of the brand; (2) the guaranty of title for suchlivestock; (3) the number of livestock transferred; (4) the sex of thelivestock; (5) the carrying brand on such livestock, including the symboland location; (6) the name and address of the vendor; and (7) the name andaddress of the purchaser.
