Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY Article 14.--EMERGENCY LOCATION OF GOVERNMENTS FOR STATE POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS

      48-1402.   Same; powers of governing body at emergency location; howexercised.During the period when the public business is being conducted at theemergency temporary location, or locations, the governing body and otherofficers of a political subdivision of this state shall have and possessand shall exercise, at such location, or locations, all of the executive,legislative and judicial powers and functions conferred upon such body andofficers by or under the laws of this state. Such powers and functions maybe exercised in the light of the exigencies of the emergency situationwithout regard to or compliance with time consuming procedures andformalities prescribed by law and pertaining thereto, and all acts of suchbody and officers shall be as valid and binding as if performed within theterritorial limits of their political subdivision.
