Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 27.--CODE OF MILITARY JUSTICE; TRIAL PROCEDURE

      48-2713.   Contempts.(a) A military court may punish for contempt any person subject to thiscode who uses any menacing word, sign, or gesture in its presence, or whodisturbs its proceedings by any riot or disorder.

      (b)   Any person not subject to this code who engages in conduct describedin subdivision (a) hereof is guilty of an offense against the stateconstituting a class C misdemeanor and the facts may be certified andprosecution instituted as provided in and contemplated by subsection (b) ofK.S.A. 48-2712.
