Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 29.--CODE OF MILITARY JUSTICE; REVIEW OF COURTS-MARTIAL

      48-2932.   (KCMJ Art. 76a) Leave required to be taken pending review ofcertain court-martial convictions.Under regulations prescribed by the governor, an accusedwho has been sentenced by a court-martial may be required to take leavepending completion of action under this section if the sentence, asapproved under K.S.A. 48-2916 includes an unsuspended dismissal oranunsuspended dishonorable or bad-conductdischarge. The accused may be required to begin such leave on the date onwhich the sentence is approved under K.S.A. 48-2916 or at any timeafter suchdate, and such leave may be continued until the date which action underthis section is completed or may be terminated at any earlier time.
