Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 30.--CODE OF MILITARY JUSTICE; PUNITIVE SECTIONS

      48-3044.   (KCMJ Art. 134) Disorders and neglects.Though not specifically mentioned in this code, all disorders andneglects to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the statemilitary forces, of which persons subject to this code may be guilty, shallbe taken cognizance of by a general, special or summary court-martial, according tothe nature and degree of the offense, and shall be punished at thediscretion of that court. However, cognizance may not be taken of, andjurisdiction may not be extended to, the crimes of murder, manslaughter,rape, robbery, maiming, sodomy, arson, extortion, assault, burglary orhousebreaking, jurisdiction of which is reserved to civil courts.
