48-3501. Title of act; purpose.This act shall be known and may be cited as the Kansasnational bio and agrodefense facility interagency working group act. The purpose of this act is tocreate aninteragency working group to support and assist the United States department ofhomelandsecurity in the national environmental policy act process to conduct anenvironmental impactstatement on any site in Kansas selected by the department of homeland securityfor the locationof a national bio and agro defense facility and to coordinate efforts among allaffected state,county and local agencies to further the state's interest in the siting of anational bio and agrodefense facility in Kansas.
