Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 4.--CADET CORPS

      48-405.   Term of enlistment; form of oath by cadet.The term of an enlistment shall be for two years, unless terminated bydischarge or removal from the institution as a student. Each cadet shall berequired to take the following oath of enlistment: "I do solemnly swear [oraffirm] that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the United States ofAmerica and to the state of Kansas, and that I will serve them faithfullyand honestly against all their enemies whomsoever, and that I will obey theorders of the governor and of the officers appointed over me."
