Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 4.--CADET CORPS

      48-406.   Claim for state pay or expense not given.Nothing in this act shall be construed as giving any corps of cadets orany person commissioned under this act a claim upon the state for pay,equipment, or ammunition; nor shall any such organization be considered asa part of the organized militia of the state; nor will the commissions asprovided for entitle the holder of any rank or precedence over an officerof the United States army or an officer of the Kansas national guard; norshall any expense be created against the state: Provided, That thenecessary blank commissions be supplied by the state.
