Chapter 53.--NOTARIES PUBLIC AND COMMISSIONERS Article 1.--NOTARIES PUBLIC

      53-119.   Recovery on bond of notary public.Any person injured by the failure of a notary public tofaithfully perform any notarial act for which a bond is given under thelaws of this state may sue on the bond in the person's own name in anycourt of competent jurisdiction to recover the damages the person may havesustained by such failure.
