Chapter 55.--OIL AND GAS
Article 10.--DISPOSAL OF BRINES AND MINERALIZED WATERS

      55-1005.   Disposal wells for salt brines and otheroil field wastes;minimum depth; penalty.It shall be unlawful to use wells for thedisposal of salt brines or other oil field wastes which do not meet therequirements for minimum depth established by the rules and regulations ofthecorporation commission.The state corporationcommission shall inspect such wells to ascertain whether they meet suchrequirements for minimum depth.Anyperson, firm, partnership, association or corporationknowingly and willfully violating the provisions of thissection, shall be deemed guilty of aseverity level 9, nonperson felony. Eachday of violation shall be considered to constitute a separate offense.
