      55-1634.   National or regional assessment; use ofportion of state assessment in lieu of, when.In the event of the establishment of a national or regionalprogram for an assessment on oil and natural gas production for an educationand marketing program for oil and natural gas, the board, by majority vote, mayelect to designate up to a maximum of 35% of the funds collected under thisact to the national or regional program in lieu of an additional assessment asmay be required by the national or regional program.
