      55-219.   Receiver for minority mineral interest in action wherelocation of defendant-owner unknown.In an action filed by any person, firm or corporation owning an interestin the minerals in any tract or tracts of land in the state of Kansas orowning an oil and gas lease on such an interest wherein it is made toappear that the defendant or defendants in such action own or appear to ownin the aggregate a minority interest in said minerals thereunder but thatthe residence, business address or whereabouts of one (1) or more of thedefendants cannot be ascertained, the district court of the county whereinsuch tract or tracts of land are situated shall have the power to appoint areceiver over the mineral interest of such defendants whose residence,business address, or whereabouts are unknown, upon compliance with theprocedure set forth in K.S.A. 55-220.
