      55-518.   Proceeds of sales to state highway fund.All proceeds of sale of such confiscated property, after payment ofcosts and the necessary charges of storing and preserving such propertyprior to sale, shall be paid by the officer conducting such sale to thedirector of taxation and by the director paid to the state treasurer andplaced in the state highway fund.
