Chapter 58.--PERSONAL AND REAL PROPERTY
Article 2.--LIENS ON PERSONAL PROPERTY

      58-202.   Same; enforcement and foreclosure; time restrictions; destructionof records.Such lien may be enforced and foreclosed as securityagreements are enforced under the provisions of the uniform commercialcode. Any legal action necessary to enforce or foreclose upon any suchlien filed in the office of the register of deeds shall be brought withinone year of the date such lien was filed, and unless such action isbrought within such time, such lien shall be deemed to have been abandonedand shall be thereafter void.After five years from the date such lien has been filed, the registerof deeds of the county where the lien is filed may remove the lien from therecords and destroy the records.
