58-2101. Recordation; fees of register of deeds.Patents issued by the government of the United States, or copies ofsuch patents properly certified from the general land office of the UnitedStates, and patents issued by the state of Kansas, or copies of suchpatents, properly certified from the office of the register of the stateland office, may be recorded in the office of the register of deeds of thecounty in which the lands covered thereby are situate, and said register ofdeeds shall be allowed the same fees for recording such patent, or copy ofpatent, as he or she is allowed by law for recording deeds or other instrumentsin writing.
