      58-4011.   Property lender or claimant; required notices.(a) The lender or claimant of property on loan to a museumshall notify the museum of a change of address or change in ownership ofthe property. Failure to notify the museum of these changes may result inthe lender's or claimant's loss of rights in the property.

      (b)   The lender or claimant of property on loan to a museum may file withthe museum a notice of intent to preserve an interest in the property asprovided for in K.S.A. 58-4007. The filing of a notice of intent topreserve aninterest in property on loan to a museum does not validate or makeenforceable any claim which would be extinguished under the terms of awritten agreement, or which would otherwise be invalid or unenforceable.
