      58-4124.   Mandatory licensure or certification, study and recommendationsby board.Not more than two years after the effective date of this act,the board shall hold public hearings to address the question ofimplementation of mandatory licensing or certification of appraisers. Suchhearings shall beheld at such reasonable times and places as to provide adequate opportunityfor input by all interested parties. At the end of the two-year period, theboard will present evidence of the hearings and make a recommendation tothe legislature, based upon the results of the hearings, as to whethermandatory licensing or certification should be implemented.If the board determines that the hearingsshow the need for mandatory licensing or certification of appraisers, the boardshall draft such legislation and request its introduction by an appropriatecommittee of the legislature.
