Chapter 58a.--KANSAS UNIFORM TRUST CODE
Article 2.--JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS

      58a-204.   Venue.(a) Except as otherwise provided insubsection (b), venue for a judicial proceeding involvinga trust is in the county of this state in which the trust's principal place ofadministration has been, is or willbe located or in the county in which any real property in which the trust hasan interest is located and,if the trust is created by will and the estate is not yet closed, in thecounty in which the decedent'sestate is being administered.

      (b)   If a trust has no trustee, venue for a judicial proceeding for theappointment of a trusteeis in a county of this state in which a beneficiary resides, in a county inwhich any trust propertyis located, and if the trust is created by will, in the county in which thedecedent's estate was or isbeing administered.
