Chapter 59.--PROBATE CODE
Article 13.--CLASSIFICATION AND PAYMENT OF DEMANDS

      59-1302.   When payment to be made.If any executor or administrator, within four months afterhaving given notice of appointment, does not have notice of demands against theestate of the decedent which will authorize the executoror administrator to represent it insolvent, the executor or administrator,after the expirationof the four months,may proceed to pay thedebts and other items due from the estate, according to theirclassification. Prior to the expiration of theperiod of fourmonths, the executor or administrator shall paythe debts and other items if ordered to do so by thecourt, and the court may require bond or security to be given by thecreditor to refund any part of such payment necessary to makepayment in accordance with this section after the expiration of the periodof four months.
