      59-2982.   Notice of death of patients in treatment facilities.In the event of the death of a patient in atreatment facility, the head of the treatment facility shallimmediately give notice of the date, time, place and cause ofsuch death, to the extent known, to the nearest known relative ofthe patient, and, as appropriate, to the court havingjurisdiction over the patient, the attorney for the patient, andto the county or district attorney and as otherwise provide forby law, to the coroner for the county in which the patient died.
