59-29a13. Same; notice to victims of release ofpersons committed underthis act.In addition to any other information required to be released underthis act, prior to the release of a person committed under this act, thesecretary shallgivewritten notice of such placement or release to any victim of the person'sactivities orcrime who is alive and whose address is known to the secretary. Failure tonotify shall not be a reason for postponement ofrelease.Nothing in this section shall create a cause of action against the state or anemployee of the state acting within the scope of the employee's employment as aresult of the failure to notify pursuant to this action.
