      60-1612.   Obligation to comply with orders not suspended by otherparty's failure to comply; nature of certain motions to modify orders.(a) If a party fails to comply with a provision of a decree, temporary orderor injunction issued under K.S.A. 60-1601 et seq., the obligationof the other party to make payments for support or maintenance or to permitvisitation or parenting time is not suspended, but the other partymayrequest by motion thatthe court grant an appropriate order.

      (b)   Motions to modify legal custody, residency,visitation rights or parenting time inproceedings wheresupport obligations are enforced under part D of title IV of the federalsocial security act (42 USC § 651 et seq.), as amended, shallbe consideredproceedings in connection with the administration of the title IV-D programfor the sole purpose of disclosing information necessary to obtain serviceof process on the parent with physical custody of the child.
